Day By Day Itinerary

DAY 1

๐Ÿ“ Delhi

Arrive at International airport, Welcome in traditional Indian style with Tika, flowers and Silk scarf. Please carry Indian local number (in basic handset) with national roaming at national roaming given by us all throughout our tour.

DAY 2

๐Ÿ“ Delhi

Morning after breakfast at Hotel drive out for local sightseeing of old Delhi,
Jama masjid: It is a largest mosque in the India. It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1656.
Red fort โ€“ It is UNESCO world heritage site. It was main residence of the emperors of the Mughal dynasty.
Delhi Bazar: Enjoy some local shopping at Janpath and Palika Bazar. Walk in tour to spice and jewel market near Chandani chowk.
Post lunch (Not Included) take ride to New Delhi.
Qutub Minar: A 73 meter tall minaret that forms part of the Qutab complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, tapering tower of five storey, made of red sandstone and marble. It has a spiral staircase of 379 steps.
Humayun Tomb: It was nine years after the death of Humayun. Most notable features are the garden space (Chaharbagh) with pathways water channels, well proportional mausoleum topped by double dome.
India Gate(Drive away): Commemorates the 70,000 Indian soldiers who lost their lives fighting for the British Army during the World War I.
Rajghat: Marks the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated following his assassination.
Parliament (Drive away) โ€“ Indian parliament building. It is circular shaped building opened in 1927.

DAY 3

๐Ÿ“ Delhi-Haridwar-Rishikesh

This day after breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Haridwar. Haridwar is an ancient city and important Hindu pilgrimage site in North Indiaโ€™s Uttarakhand state, where the River Ganges exits the Himalayan foothills. The largest of several sacred ghats (bathing steps). In the evening after sunset will take you to Harkipauri to attend the famous Ganga Aarti.

DAY 4

๐Ÿ“ Rishikesh

Morning after breakfast visit Rishikesh: At 1360 m. above sea-level, Rishikeh is a peaceful, serene place inhabited by sadhus and mendicants, and visited by tourists and pilgrims alike. People come to Rishikesh to meditate and study yoga, among other things.

The Triveni Ghat at Rishikesh is considered the most sacred spot as it is the point of confluence of the three holy rivers -Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. The other attraction of Rishikesh is the Laxman Jhoola over the river Ganga, which connects the two sides of the town.

Places Covered: Ram Jhula, Swarg Ashram, Parmarth Ashram, Geeta Bhawan

DAY 5

๐Ÿ“ Rishikesh-Amritsar by 12053 HW ASR JNSHTBDI at 1445/2205 HRS

Morning after breakfast check out from the Hotel and in afternoon you will be dropped till the Railway station to catch the train to Amritsar.

DAY 6

๐Ÿ“ Amritsar

Morning after breakfast there will be local Amritsar sightseeing. Golden Temple -is the most sacred temple for Sikhs. It is a symbol of the magnificence and strength of the Sikh people all over the world. In the evolution of the Darbar Sahib, is entwined the history and ideology of Sikhism. In its architecture are included, symbols associated with other places of worship. This is an example of the spirit of tolerance and acceptance that the Sikh philosophy propounds.

Also, visit Jallianwala Bagh- Martyrsโ€™ Memorial built in the shape of eternal flame of liberty is situated on the outskirts of Golden Temple. Here about 1500 and 2000 persons who were attending a peaceful meeting during the freedom movement fell under the bullets of the British General Dyer on 13 April 1919 and the city of Amritsar.

After noon, visit Wagah Border to watch Border Retreat Ceremony. The pageant of the beating of the retreat and the change of guard within handshaking distance of the Indian and Pakistani forces here makes the most charming of the spectacles as a daily evening drill. Ascertain the timings before you leave to see this spectacle since these are changed seasonally. Wagah is the only land border open between Pakistan and India.

DAY 7

๐Ÿ“ Amritsar-Delhi by 12460 ASR NDLS EXP at 0615/1415 HRS

Morning after breakfast check out from the Hotel and you will be dropped till the Railway station to board the train to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi railway station you will be welcomed and escorted till the car for the drive to Agra. On arrival check-in hotel, rest of the day is leisure.

DAY 8

๐Ÿ“ Delhi-Mathura-Agra

After early morning breakfast check out from the Hotel and there will be drive to Mathura. Proceed for full day excursion tour to visit Mathura sightseeing Krishna Janm Bhumi & Krishna Temple.

Afternoon drive ahead to Agra.

DAY 9

After breakfast check out from the Hotel and there Agra city tour will start will include visitingโ€ The Taj Mahalโ€. Taj Mahal was constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Taj is certainly the most prevalent sight in Agra, with the most achingly stunning architectural accomplishments globally, and it portrays enduring love. โ€œAgra Fortโ€ that includes numerous buildings like the Moti Masjid and Musanman Burj was raised by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D, is where Shah Jahan is believed to have died after being imprisoned. Later in evening drive ahead to Delhi.
