You will be greeted at Leh by a representative of the Memorable India team, after which will be transferred to your hotels. Leh is a picturesque valley, with breath taking landscapes that surround it. The entire day is at leisure for you to explore the town, shop, go for a walk or just laze around in your room.
On the second day of our 6 nights & 7 days Leh, & Nubra Valley tour package, we gear up to get enthralled by the sights and sounds of Leh. We start off with a visit to Shey Palace, an architectural marvel that was built in the 17th century, and later to Thiksay and Hemis Monastry, and a visit to the ornate Stok Palace and the Museum. The evening is left free; you can explore the town of Leh or relax at your hotel room.
We drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass, which is the worldโs highest motor able road which is at an incredible height of 18,000 feet. On arrival we head to the camp, which is where we will be staying for the night. We head to the Diskit Monastery, the largest and oldest Buddhist Monastery in northern India, for a brief visit and end the evening with a walk around the Sand Dune.
We head back to Leh after our breakfast. The rest of the day is at leisure, for you to explore the town or go shopping.
We head to Uleytokpo with an en route visit to the Hall of Fame, Magnetic Hill which is believed to have strong magnetic properties, and Alchi Monastery. On arrival you will be escorted to your camps, where you will be spending the night. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to explore the rugged plains of Uleytopko.
Today we head back to Leh, with an en route visit to Likir Monastery. The rest of the day is at leisure, for you to go shopping, trekking or just relax in you hotel room.
